Homecoming Flow 2022: One Way Filtering Conducted At The West Bekasi To Cikarang Toll Gate
JAKARTA - The odd-even and one-way schemes on toll roads during the homecoming flow will take effect tomorrow, April 28. Under this policy, the police will filter vehicles at several toll gates (GT).
"As a result of yesterday's meeting with the Jasa Marga Dirlantas and Kakorlantas, it was decided that one way filtering would not be carried out on toll roads, as was the trial on April 25-26, but would be filtered at toll gates," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo told reporters, Wednesday, April 27.
This means that the police will sort out vehicles that can pass on toll roads when the odd-even policy applies.
Specifically in the jurisdiction of the Polda Metro Jaya, there are 7 toll gates that serve as filtering points and apply odd-even and one-way schemes.
This scheme starts at 17.00 WIB until 00.00 WIB on Thursday, April 28.
Then, Friday, April 29, starting at 17.00 WIB until 00.00 WIB. On Saturday and Sunday or April 29 to 30, it is applied starting at 07.00 WIB until 00.00 WIB.
"(Gateway To) West Bekasi, East Bekasi, Tambun, Cibitung, West Cikarang, Central Cikarang, to Cibatu, all of which will apply one-way filtering," said Sambodo.
Previously, the Deputy Chief of the National Police, Komjen Gatot Eddy Pramono, said that the traffic flow on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road would increase by 89 percent in the H-5 of Eid 2022.
The statement was made by the Deputy Chief of Police when reviewing the homecoming flow at KM 29 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.
"Earlier today, there was an 89 percent increase in the number of vehicles compared to yesterday," said Gatot.
With the increase in the number of vehicles, Gatot said his party would maximize the traffic flow scheme that was prepared. Starting from one way, odd-even, and contraflow.
"Of course this will continue to increase and of course we must prepare optimal security," he said.
