Instagram Tests A Feature That Can Embed Uploads In User Profiles
JAKARTA - Instagram is currently reportedly testing a new capability of adopting the TikTok feature, where users can embed uploads on their own profiles. Currently, the feature is still in beta for select users.
The feature was first spotted by reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi last January, and confirmed by TechCrunch, where Instagram now shows a "Pin to your profile" option in the three-dot menu next to posts.
"We're testing a new feature that will allow people to show posts on their profiles," a Meta spokesperson told TechCrunch.
Several other social media platforms, including Twitter and TikTok, have already allowed users to highlight their posts in much the same way.
Citing 9to5Mac, Wednesday, April 27, as you can imagine, this is a very helpful feature for people who frequently upload photos and videos and want to showcase their best work on their Instagram account.

Likewise, brands and influencers will also welcome the opportunity to have more control over how their profile page looks.
It should be noted that the embedded photo will remain until the user chooses to delete it. This feature is part of Instagram's efforts to become content-friendly social media.
This is because, Instagram boa Adam Mosseri has announced almost every week a new tool or capability, which will provide a better experience for those who use Instagram to promote their own content.
