New Tangerang Regency Government Repairs 37 Road Points Passed By Homecomers
TANGERANG - The Tangerang Regency Government, Banten Province, has made repairs to 37 points of roads that are used as the main routes for Lebaran homecoming in the region.
Head of the Tangerang Regency Bina Marga and Water Resources (DBMSDA) Office, Iwan Firmansah Effendi, said the repaired route points include roads on the border with the Bogor and Serang Regencies, lanes leading to toll roads, as well as lanes supporting mobility in the health sector.
"From 37 points of homecoming traffic in Tangerang Regency with a length of 193.75 kilometers, 170,23 kilometers of roads are in good condition and 23.2 kilometers of roads are still in the process of being repaired, through maintenance for lightly damaged conditions and improvement. and heavy rehabilitation for 2022," he said in Tangerang, Antara, Tuesday, April 26.
In its implementation, the road repair method used is in accordance with the conditions of damage that occur in each segment. Where, he continued, the repairs were carried out on roads with light and moderate damage levels reaching 85 percent.
"With these improvements, 37 Tangerang Regency roads that have high potential for travelers to pass can be ascertained that the road conditions are good, safe and suitable for use," he said.
He added, in addition to repairs on 37 roads that will be used by travelers, his party also plans to inform the organizers of Banten Province roads and National roads, namely the Ministry of PUPR through the Regional VI Road National Center, of which there are around nine provincial roads and one National road that will be fixed.
"We (DBMSDA) continue to coordinate with the Provincial PUPR (Banten) on the condition of the national road and the Banten Province road in the Tangerang Regency area which is our responsibility to improve," he said.
With the improvement of this road section, he said, it is hoped that it will provide comfort and security for Eid travelers so that they can arrive at their hometown safely and healthy.
"If something is damaged, report it. We will report it to the provincial road and forward it to the person in charge," he said.
