Red Notice Issued, Criminal Investigation Unit Arrests International Fugitive DNA Pro Trading Robot Eliazar Daniel Piri
JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit arrested Eliazar Daniel Piri alias Daniel Abe who is a fugitive in the DNA Pro trading robot case. The arrests were made shortly after Interpol issued a red notice.
"Yes, that's true (the arrest, ed). Daniel, Daniel Abe," said the Director of Special Economic Crimes at the Indonesian National Police, Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan, when confirmed, Tuesday, April 26.
This international fugitive was arrested at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on April 24, the night. However, it was not explained in detail about the suspect's actual purpose at the airport during the arrest process.
It was only emphasized that at this time the suspect, Daniel Abe, had been brought to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police to undergo the examination process.
"Last Sunday night, (the arrest of Daniel Abe)," said Whisnu.
With this arrest, a total of 8 suspects have been arrested. While 4 of them are still being hunted.
The two suspects who are still at large are Ferawaty alias Fei and Fauzi alias Daniel Zii. Interpol has also issued a red notice for the two of them because they are suspected of being abroad.
Meanwhile, there are two other suspects who are also fugitives. However, its existence is said to be still in Indonesia.
