Residents In Ilaga Papua Shot On The Terrace Of The House, There Are 2 Perpetrators Wearing Purple Stripes Allegedly KKB Leader Numbuk Telenggen

JAYAPURA - Samsul Sattu (45) became a victim of a shooting carried out by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Ilaga, Puncak Regency, Papua.

“We received reports from the public that there was a shooting against one of the residents in the camp. Ilaga District Shower, Puncak Regency," said Head of the Public Relations Task Force for Ops Damai Cartenz Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal in a written statement, Monday, April 25.

After receiving the report, the personnel went directly to the scene of the incident. The team evacuated the victims to the Ilaga Health Center using a truck.

"After arriving at the scene, the perpetrator had fled, so personnel evacuated the victim to the Ilaga Health Center," said Kamal.

According to witness statements, before the incident the victim and three of his colleagues sat on the terrace of the house. Suddenly two perpetrators came from the right side of the victim's house and started shooting.

"It is known that there were 2 perpetrators with characteristics at the time of the incident wearing purple striped shirts and colorful shorts and one other perpetrator wearing a head covering/noken and purple striped shirt and brown shorts and carrying 1 machete," said Kamal. .

The shooter is suspected to be a member of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) led by Numbuk Telenggen.

"It is planned that the victim will be flown by the family on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, to Timika to Toraja, South Sulawesi," said Kamal.
