Prepares IDR 46.85 Trillion In Cash To Welcome Community Needs During Eid Holidays, BRI Also Prepares Banking Services Task Force
JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) has prepared cash worth Rp. 46.85 trillion for the needs of customers and the public ahead of the Eid 1443 H holiday. This number is up 73 percent compared to last year's Eid.
"This is our anticipation in facing a surge in transactions because the ban on going home was lifted by the government," said BRI Deputy President Director Catur Budi Harto in a presentation on BRI's performance in the first quarter of 2022, Monday, April 25.
In addition to providing cash, BRI also provides limited Eid al-Fitr services in BRI work units starting April 30, May 4 and May 7 in 196 operational work units throughout Indonesia.
Catur said, BRI also ensures that e-channel services that support daily transactions during holidays and homecoming trips are ensured to run smoothly so that they can be accessed from anywhere and anytime through the BRI E-channel Siaga Terpadu or BRIGESIT movement.
"Through this, BRI has formed a task force to ensure that people feel safe and comfortable in accessing BRI services during holidays," he said.
Furthermore, Catur said, BRI is also committed to serving the community in prime condition for 24 hours, one of which is through BRI's superApp, BRIMO, which has more than 100 features that can be used to meet customer needs.
"The public can also take advantage of BRILink services, which are spread over 539 thousand spread in 55,000 villages throughout Indonesia," he added.
Catur also urges the public to remain vigilant and increase security in transactions, both when using e-channels, as well as the internet or mobile banking.
"Customers are also advised not to easily trust parties who claim to be from the bank and also to maintain personal data and banking data such as user id, OTP, PIN and CVV on the card," he concluded.
