Christmas Is Still A Long Time Ago, This Couple Decorated Their Homes To Make Their Neighbors Happy Amid The Pandemic

JAKARTA - What this couple does is simple but very valuable. Ian Cochran and Helen decorated their entire Hamilton home with Christmas knick-knacks.

Launching the Daily Star, Thursday, October 8, the couple always decorated their house in December. However, this year, they decided to decorate the house since early October.

It is known that the entire exterior of their house is decorated with colorful lights. They also put a snowman figure in front of the house with a large size.

"We are satisfied to see the reactions of people of all ages enjoying it," said Ian.

There's a reason they are speeding up decorating their entire home in October. "I started thinking about it in early September when a lot of people were feeling depressed with the approaching dark winter night and definitely not communicating with anyone and approaching Christmas, with their families," he said further.

So the couple decorated their house in the hope that this would bring happiness to their neighbors.

“The lights have been on for 35 years. We started at our house first then we moved to this area, ”said Helen.

After turning on the light, they saw the various reactions their neighbors were giving. Some came out of the house to witness it firsthand and some danced outside the house.

"There was a child screaming. One car was stopped for a moment and when they were about to leave, another car approached, "said Helen again.

This simple habit by the Cochran couple is considered very positive and uplifting to anyone who sees it.
