CPNS 2021 In Sulawesi And Lampung Turns Out There Is A Syndicate, 30 Perpetrators Who Use Remote Access Arrested By The Criminal Investigation Department

JAKARTA - The Anti-KKN CPNS Task Force of the National Police Bareskrim has revealed a criminal syndicate of fraudulent acts of the 2021 Basic Competency Selection (SKD) for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) which occurred in 10 regions in Sulawesi and Lampung.

The disclosure of the fraudulent selection of CPNS or candidates for state civil apparatus (CASN) occurred in the jurisdictions of the Central Sulawesi Police, West Sulawesi Police, South Sulawesi Police (Makassar Police, Tanah Toraja Police, Sidrap Police, Palopo Police, Luwu Police, and Enrekang Police). Southeast Sulawesi Police, and Lampung Police.

The Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Kombes Pol Gatot Repli Handoko, said that 21 civilians and 9 civil servants were arrested in the case.

"The modus operandi of the perpetrators is using a remote access application and special devices modified by the perpetrators," said Gatot, Monday, April 25, as reported by Antara.

Gatot said that this disclosure was carried out by the Anti-KKN CPNS Task Force led by the Head of the Operational Planning Section (Kabagrenop) at the National Police Headquarters.

The disclosure of this case was attended by the Deputy of the Ministry of PAN/RB.

In this case there are 359 CPNS who have been disqualified and 81 have not been disqualified.

The fraud in the recruitment of CPNS was revealed by the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Tjahjo Kumolo in December 2021.

Then, BKN explained the fraud in the 2021 CPNS selection with remote access mode, namely the computer used by the participant can be accessed by other people remotely.
