Acquired By Embracer Group, Perfect World Entertainment Changes Name To Gearbox Publishing
JAKARTA - The Embracer Group continues its acquisition by involving several well-known companies, one of which is Dark Horse Media.
Dark Horse Media is a medium known for its comic book properties such as 300, Hellboy, Sin City and many more.
In addition, Perfect World Entertainment, which has also been acquired through Gearbox Entertainment Company since 2021, officially changed its name to Gearbox Publishing on April 21.

"We are excited to announce that we are now Gearbox Publishing! In early 2022, we were given a great opportunity to broaden our horizons and expand our reach in the world of video games," wrote Perfect World in its announcement.
Perfect World will act as a subsidiary of Gearbox going forward with in-progress titles such as Neverwinter, Star Trek Online, and Have a Nice Death, unchanged.
With this acquisition, the developer said that there would be a new logo to replace the Perfect World Entertainment logo with the Gearbox Publishing logo.
