Vice President Visits Mako Yogyakarta Air Force Academy

YOGYAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin visited the Mako of the Air Force Academy (AAU) in Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY).

The visit to AAU was carried out after the Vice President held Friday prayers at Baiturrahman Mosque, Gunungkidul Cultural Park, and at the same time ended his working visit in Central Java and Yogyakarta for the last two days.

At this location, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin planted trees and gave messages to the cadets.

Arriving at the Mako AAU area, Ma'ruf Amin was greeted by a line of honor consisting of AAU cadets. After the welcome, the activity then continued to the Adisakti Monument to sign a message to the AAU cadets.

There was also a written message that the Vice President conveyed was "Be a brilliant, brilliant cadet, ready to serve, and serve the country and nation".

The message has a very deep meaning where the AAU cadets, as one of the nation's next generation in fulfilling independence, are expected to become superior human resources (HR) and bring the nation's good name wherever they are.

The activity was closed with a photo with the Governor of AAU and the ranks and planting of guava trees by the Vice President.
