Gas Station Robber In Sukabumi Arrested
SUKABUMI - Police arrested the alleged perpetrator of the gas station robbery in Tipar Village, Sukabumi, West Java.
"From the results of case development and investigations by the Sukabumi City Police Satreskrim personnel, they finally managed to arrest the suspect in the Tipar gas station robbery case, Citamiang District. The suspect with the initials UU (23) is a former employee of the gas station," said Sukabumi City Police Chief AKBP SY Zainal Abidin, quoted by Antara, Thursday. , April 21.

In the midst of threats and pointed weapons, the gas station officer finally opened the safe and UU took around Rp52 million. After draining the money from the gas station, UU then took the victim to a room and locked him from outside and fled.
Receiving a report of a robbery incident, the Sukabumi City Police Satreskrim immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) and asked for information from a number of witnesses including gas station officers.
"Our suspect was arrested on April 18 at his hiding place and also confiscated a number of smartphones, jewellery, money and other things that were allegedly bought by the perpetrator using the proceeds of his crime," he added.
Abidin said the police were still developing this case, whether UU acted alone or with his colleagues. As a result of his actions, this young man had to celebrate Eid behind bars and was charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code on theft with violence which carries a penalty of nine years in prison.
