The Leader Of The House Of Representatives Accepts The Demands, The April 21 Demonstration Mass Disperses

JAKARTA - The mass demonstration on April 21 in front of the DPR building has left the demonstration site. They immediately rushed to disperse after 15 representatives of the demonstrators were received by the DPR leadership to convey their aspirations and demands.

Of the hundreds of people who came to the DPR building, only dozens were left before the Maghrib call to prayer. Today's demonstration was brief and peaceful without chaos.

Previously, the union of workers with the people and the alliance of students who participated as representatives met with the leadership of the DPR stated that they had submitted their aspirations to the DPR.

First, related to the revision of the PPP Law. Second, the Omnibus Law creates work. Third, the increase in fuel, basic necessities, cooking oil, LPG, and VAT.

"Where this policy has an impact on the needs of the community. We as workers have the influence of the increase. The people's purchasing power is getting weaker," said Chairman of the Indonesian Trade Union Alliance (KASBI) Congress Nining Elitos at the DPR building, Thursday, April 21.

"Therefore, we convey to the leadership of the DPR that it must be a serious concern. Because of the suffering of the people with various policy regulations that will have an impact on both the national economy and social turmoil," he said.
