Bali United Coach Suggest League 1 Not To Be Postponed Again
JAKARTA - The continuation of the 2020 League 1 competition was postponed because they did not get permission from the crowd from the police. The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) hopes that the continuation of the competition can be held in November.
The same hope was conveyed by the coach of Bali United, Stefano Teco Cugurra. The Brazilian coach suggested that Liga 1 be implemented immediately without delay.
"Because other countries have already held competitions," said Teco.
He acknowledged that other countries held competitions by paying close attention to health protocols. This, continued Teco, has been carried out by PSSI and the league operator, namely PT Liga Indonesia Baru.
"Supporters also know that they cannot attend the stadium and only watch on television," he said.
Even so, he asked that the health protocols prepared were really good. "All countries have this pandemic, of course the health protocol must be good so the team can return to work in the League 1 competition," continued Teco.
Bali United itself continued training even though the competition was postponed. However, Teco admitted, the intensity of training was not the same as before.
"The intensity is certainly lighter than at the beginning of team training preparation," he said.
He hopes that the organizers of the League 1 competition can provide schedule information in advance. Of course, so that the team can prepare well in the future.
