Arsenal Confirms Gunnersaurus, Ozil Offers Bailout Of His Salary

JAKARTA - Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has a noble heart. He offered his salary to help one of the workers who often become the club's mascot, Gunnersaurus, who was recently laid off.

"Therefore, I offer to bail @Arsenal for the full salary of the green figure as long as I am an Arsenal player, so that Jerry can continue the job he loves," Ozil added while putting a heart and greetings emoji.

Launching Antara, Wednesday, October 7, the news about Quy's dismissal sparked criticism from Arsenal supporters. However, the club stated that the Gunnersaurus figure was not removed and would return when supporters were allowed to attend the stadium directly.

Ozil himself is currently left out of the choice of manager Mikel Arteta and has not appeared since the 2020/21 season rolled around.
