Kalideres Terminal Manager Reminds Bus POs Not To Increase Tickets During Lebaran Homecoming
JAKBAR - Anticipating a surge in ticket prices ahead of the 2022 Lebaran homecoming, the manager of the Kalideres Terminal in West Jakarta (Jakbar) continues to monitor the upper and lower tariff limits set by the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub).
"What is regulated by the government is for economy buses and for non-economy tickets, they are handed over to the bus PO on the condition that they do not exceed the upper and lower tariff limits," said Head of Kalideres Terminal, Revi Zulkarnaen, when contacted in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, April 19. .
Revi said that the upper and lower limits of ticket prices are expected to be determined by the central government ahead of the Eid homecoming season on April 25, 2022.
However, if you look at last year's Eid homecoming, the government regulates the price of non-economy class AKAP buses so that they do not increase 100 percent from the original ticket price. "The ticket price depends on which major he is taking, the important thing is not above 100 percent," he explained.
Later, the task of the terminal manager is to ensure that all Otobus Companies (POs) determine ticket prices in accordance with applicable government regulations.
"We will check whether the price is in accordance with the facilities provided. If there is a violation, of course there will be an action process given to the bus PO," said Revi.
Until now, Revi is still waiting for the ticket price limits set by the government for economy and non-economy class buses.
