Car Factory In Tangerang Burns, Residents Hear Explosion Before Fire Spreads

TANGERANG - A dump car factory PT Karunia Perdana Putra burned down on Jalan Kampung Cirarab, Cirarab Village, Legok, Tangerang Regency.

Head of Emergency and Logistics BPBD Tangerang regency, Abdul Munir said the incident occurred on Monday, April 18, at 20:17 WIB.

Abdul suspected that the fire was caused by an electrical short in the flow of the blower.

"The temporary suspicion is due to an electrical short in the blower," said Abdul when confirmed, Monday, April 18.

Abdul said there were five firefighters deployed by his party. The goal is to extinguish the fire.

"1 unit of Mako Curug, 1 unit of post coconut 2, 1 unit of LG, 2 units of firefighters in Bogor district," he said.

Meanwhile, a local resident, Selly, said that when she heard the sound of an explosion coming from the factory. Not long after, the fire immediately grew and burned PT Karunia Perdana Putra.

"Yes, there was a faint sound from the factory," he said.
