12,372 Residents In East Aceh Have Been Vaccinated With Booster Doses

ACEH - The East Aceh District Health Office (Dinkes) stated that as many as 12,372 residents in the region had taken the third dose of booster COVID-19 vaccine.

"Currently, the achievement of booster vaccination for the community in our area has reached 12,372 people or 6.2 percent of the target of 312,063 people," said Head of the East Aceh District Health Office Sahminan in East Aceh, as reported by Antara, Monday, April 18.

Meanwhile, the achievement of the first dose of vaccine vaccination, said Sahminan, has reached 188,598 people or 95.1 percent. Likewise, the second dose reached 140,671 people or 67.1 percent.

Meanwhile, for teenagers, said Sahminan, the booster dose vaccination has only reached 1,058 people or 2.1 percent. Meanwhile, the first dose of youth vaccination reached 38,228 people or 75.4 percent. And the second dose was 27,119 people or 53.3 percent. For child vaccination, said Sahminan, the achievement of the first dose was 41,747 children or 80.9 percent. The second dose was 39.8 percent or 20,561 children.

"As for the third dose, no child has been vaccinated, because the interval between the second dose and the third dose has to be six months," said Sahminan.

Even though he has been vaccinated, both the first and second doses, Sahminan reminded the public to still adhere to the health protocols because the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing.

"Comply with health protocols by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, not crowding. Health protocols are an effective way to prevent the transmission and spread of COVID-19," said Sahminan.
