Get Ready! BTS Will Release A New Album In June This Year

JAKARTA - K-pop group BTS announced a new album with the tagline "We Are Bulletproof" on Sunday, April 17. A mysterious teaser began circulating on their official social media with a number of photos.

Previously, this teaser had aired at their last concert in Las Vegas. The date 2022.06.10 or June 10 appears at the end of the video with the tagline.

It is not yet known whether We Are Bulletproof will be the album title, song title, or just a tagline. However, this news has been confirmed by Big Hit Music as an agency.

"BTS will return with a new album on June 10, 2022. Details regarding the new album will be announced later," the agency said.

Recently, BTS performed at the Grammys and Oscars this month. They sang Butter and got a Grammy nomination for the second time.

After that they went to Las Vegas for the Permission to Dance on Stage concert starting on April 8, 9, 15, and 16 at Allegiant Stadium. In the midst of this situation, one of the group's members, Jin suffered an injury so he could not perform as usual.

BTS also appeared in the Oscars video footage where they celebrated their favorite Oscar-nominated films like Coco and Aladdin.

This album is BTS' latest release after releasing the song Permission to Dance in 2021.
