JAKARTA - Head of the Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept. (Kasudin Gulkarmat) Asril Rizal noted that from January to March 2022, there were 49 fire cases in Central Jakarta caused by an electric short circuit.
In order to prevent the same thing from happening, especially in the midst of public euphoria before going home, Asril appealed to travelers who will leave their homes to always check the condition of their homes before leaving. Asril said, check the gas stove again, and make sure the power plug is unplugged.
"If you want to go home, make sure that the gas must be removed and the electricity that is not in use must also be removed from the socket," Asril told VOI, Monday, April 18.
