Only 18 Percent Of Karawang Residents Receive COVID-19 Boosters, Total Target Is 1.9 Million People
KARAWANG - The number of Karawang residents who have received the third dose or booster of the COVID-19 vaccine has only reached 18 percent of the total target of 1,917,354 people.
The Karawang Health Office reported that as of today, the number of booster vaccination achievements in the area is 345,229 people or 18 percent of the target.
Meanwhile, for the second dose of vaccination, the achievement reached 77.86 percent or 1,492,939 people.
Then the first dose of vaccination has reached 1,99,798 people or 93.87 percent of the target of 1,917,354 people.
Continuing Antara's report, the spokesperson for the Karawang COVID-19 Task Force, Fitra Hergyana, said that the Karawang Regency Government is still serving residents who want to be vaccinated.
This was done by opening COVID-19 vaccination centers in all Puskesmas in the Karawang area. Even at night, vaccination centers are opened at several points.
Meanwhile, based on data from the Karawang Health Office, as of this week, the positive cases of COVID-19 in Karawang reached 42 people.
Of the 42 people, as many as 22 people are still being treated at the hospital and 20 others are undergoing self-isolation in their respective homes.
For the data of patients who have been declared cured so far as many as 52,266 people, and cases of death or COVID-19 patients who died reached 2,032 people.
