Senggol Market In Gorontalo May Open Ramadan 2022, Regency Government: At Least Traders And Buyers Have Complete Vaccinations
GORONTALO - The Gorontalo Regency Government (Pemkab) has again allowed the opening of Senggol Market or the people's market during the month of Ramadan. However, with the condition of implementing the COVID-19 health protocol.
This was conveyed by the Deputy Regent of Gorontalo, Hendra Hemeto after directly observing the Senggol Market in the Limboto Terminal yard, Sunday, April 17.
“Health protocols are strictly enforced for visitors, traders and administrators. If not, we will not hesitate to close Senggol Market," he said, quoted from Antara.
He revealed that the policy in order to revive the community's economy that the Gorontalo Regency Government took during the pandemic was carried out carefully. At each location of the Senggol market, the Regional Government also opens a COVID-19 vaccination booth.
The Regent of Gorontalo, Nelson Pomalingo said that his party allowed the opening of Senggol Market on the condition that traders and buyers had to have been vaccinated against COVID-19. "Traders and buyers must have had at least two vaccines," he said.
Nelson wants the economy of Gorontalo Regency to continue to run and be healthy, so vaccination is a condition for reopening the senggol market.
