79 Thousand Residents Of Sidoarjo Receive BLT Cooking Oil And BPNT, Total IDR 500 Thousand

JAKARTA - Direct cash assistance (BLT) for cooking oil and non-cash food assistance (BPNT) from the Ministry of Social Affairs have been distributed to 79,579 residents of Sidoarjo, East Java, who are included in the list of recipients.

Secretary of the Sidoarjo Social Service, Ahmad Mishabul Munir, said the total received by each beneficiary family (KPM) was Rp. 500 thousand in cash.

"The details of the BLT cooking oil assistance are in the form of cash in the amount of Rp. 300,000 and BPNT assistance of Rp. 200,000," he said, as reported by Antara, Saturday, April 16.

As is known, each KPM receives BLT cooking oil of Rp. 100,000 per month distributed for April, May and June. They also received BPNT for the month of May in the amount of Rp. 200,000 which was distributed in cash.

The tens of thousands of KPMs are spread across 18 sub-districts with the distribution of aid starting on Wednesday, April 13 yesterday. Starting from the District Waru, Porong and Balongbendo.

"Then the next day, Thursday in Candi, Sedati, Krembung and Tanggulangin sub-districts," said Misbah.

Furthermore, on Friday April 15, the distribution of aid was carried out in the sub-districts of Taman, Sidoarjo City and Tulangan.

"Distribution in the sub-districts of Krian, Buduran and Jabon is carried out today (Saturday). Meanwhile for the other 5 sub-districts the distribution will be on Monday next week," said Misbah, who also serves as Plt. Head of the Office of Communication and Informatics Sidoarjo.

He said that each sub-district had a location for collection, such as in the Buduran sub-district, it was centered in 8 locations, namely at the Balai Damarsih, Prasung, Dukuh Tengah, Wadungasih, Pagerwojo, Sidokerto, Sukorejo and Sidokepung offices.

As for the distribution mechanism, continued Misbah, it was given in the form of cash, the Sidoarjo Regency Government cooperated with PT Pos Indonesia and is targeted to complete it in one week.

"To expedite the distribution process, we have deployed hundreds of integrated service and referral system personnel to assist in the field," he said.
