30.3 Million Residents Already Vaccinate Third Dose, COVID Handling Task Force: For Those Who Want To Go Home Immediate Vaccination Booster

JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, appealed to the public, especially those planning to go home for Eid 2022, not to delay booster vaccination. The hope is that when going home, antibodies will be created in the body that can protect against the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

According to him, antibodies begin to form one to two weeks after the booster vaccination or booster dose. Therefore, Siti Nadia asked the public to carry out booster vaccinations in advance.

"We appeal to the public, if you want to go home comfortably and safely, booster vaccines should immediately be given. Do not force booster vaccinations when going home, so as to avoid crowds at the vaccine site," Nadia said, as quoted by Antara.
