155 Thousand KPM In Pekalongan Will Get BLT And BST, Post Office: Hopefully It's Really Used To Buy Cooking Oil And Basic Food
JAKARTA - A total of 155,000 beneficiary families (KPM) in Pekalongan, Central Java, will receive a direct cash assistance channel (BLT) for cooking oil and cash social assistance (BST) for basic necessities from the Ministry of Social Affairs. The BLT and BST funds will be channeled through the Pekalongan Post Office.
The Deputy Executive General Manager of the Pekalongan Post Main Branch Office, Yudi Bayu Wardana, requested this fund to be used according to its designation.
"We hope that the beneficiaries will actually use this assistance to buy cooking oil and basic necessities as needed," he said, as reported by Antara, Saturday, April 16.
Yudi Bayu said that the distribution of BLT from the Ministry of Social Affairs to KPM was an effort to help underprivileged residents to meet their needs ahead of Eid 2022.
"We are targeting the distribution of BLT to be completed on April 18," he said.
Yudi said that as many as 155,000 KPMs had been registered in the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) and Family Hope Program (PKH) programs. He detailed that the disbursement of the BLT for cooking oil was given in the amount of Rp. 100,000 every month at once in three months, namely April, May and June.
"Therefore, residents who meet the requirements will be given assistance worth Rp. 300 thousand plus BST for basic necessities for the month of May in the amount of Rp. 200 thousand which was received in April 2022," he said.
Yudi Bayu revealed that the total cash assistance received from the beneficiary families was IDR 500 thousand each. According to him, the process of disbursing the direct cash assistance will be carried out at the post office and each kelurahan.
As for the conditions for disbursement, he said, the beneficiary's family must bring an original identity card (KTP) and family card (KK).
