Foreign Tourist Visits To Ulundanu Bedugul Bali Increase After International Flights Open
TABANAN - The level of foreign tourist visits to the Ulundanu Temple attraction, Bedugul, Tabanan, Bali, has increased by up to 30 percent, after international flights reopened.
Public Relations of Ulundanu Tourism Object Made Sukarata said foreign tourists visiting Bedugul came from three countries, namely Russia, Australia and India.
"Especially for foreign tourists, several international flights to Bali, from last month, the number of foreign tourists visiting reached 30 people, but in March and April this has been 100 people per day," he said, quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 16.
This, Made continued, because the government's requirements have now made it easier for foreign tourists to travel to Indonesia and Bali, namely visa-free and quarantine-free.
According to him, with this regulation, foreign tourists claim to be happy and will return to visit with their relatives for a vacation to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the island of Bali.
Michael, a tourist from France, said he was happy to go on vacation to Bali after the visa-free and quarantine rules made it easier for him to return to Bali.
"What is certain is that I have been vaccinated and tested negative for COVID-19, I feel safe to travel. The current condition of Bali is no different from my country if I have been vaccinated and wear a mask, it is not difficult to travel. I always obey the prokes and keep my distance so as not to caught COVID-19 while traveling," he said.
Made added that for domestic tourist visits, the figure is still stable, namely 300 people per day or has not increased.
"However, we are optimistic that during the Idul Fitri holiday, there will be an increase in domestic visits," he said.
Previously, Tabanan Regent I Komang Gede Sanjaya together with the Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) TNI General Dudung Abdurachman visited the Tanah Lot tourist attraction, Tabanan.
"Tabanan is an agricultural area where the majority of the people are engaged in the agricultural sector. Tabanan is also supported by the tourism sector with three well-known DTWs, namely Tanah Lot Kediri; Jatiluwih, Penebel; and Ulundanu," he said.
He stated that Tanah Lot is a favorite destination for tourists, both local and foreign. In the future, it is hoped that Tanah Lot will be able to rise again as one of the pillars of the PAD of Tabanan Regency.
Meanwhile, Dudung Abdurachman hopes that conditions will return to normal and return to normal, so that the level of tourist visits to Tanah Lot and others can recover and return to normal.
