Sri Mulyani Allocates IDR 34.3 Trillion For THR For ASN, TNI And Polri

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati has allocated a budget of Rp. 34.3 trillion for the provision of holiday allowances (THR) for state and local civil servants, the TNI, and the National Police this year.

"The policy for providing THR has been regulated in the state budget for the 2022 budget year," he said, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 16.

Sri Mulyani said that the budget allocation for THR had been accommodated in this year's APBN, the distribution of which would be made through Ministries/Agencies (K/L), General Allocation Funds (DAU) and the state general treasurer.

The THR budget with distribution carried out by K/L has an allocation of Rp. 10.3 trillion which is intended for the central ASN, TNI and Polri.

For THR through the General Allocation Fund (DAU) of Rp. 15 trillion, namely for regional ASN, namely PNSD and PPPK which can be added from the 2022 APBD according to the fiscal capacity of each region.

Meanwhile, THR for retirees is carried out through a budget that has been allocated to the state general treasury with a total of IDR 9 trillion.

In detail, this year's THR recipients include 1.8 million employees of the central state apparatus, 3.7 million employees of regional state apparatus and 3.3 million retirees.

According to Sri Mulyani, the THR was given as a form of appreciation for the contribution and service of state apparatus and retirees in dealing with the pandemic through community services and economic recovery efforts.

"This policy is expected to accelerate the national economic recovery by increasing people's purchasing power," he said.
