JAKARTA - MPR member from the Golkar faction, Mukhamad Misbakhun ensured that his party consistently adheres to the constitution and supports the implementation of the 2024 Simultaneous General Elections (Pemilu) as scheduled on February 14, 2024.

"So far, the Golkar Party continues to support the implementation of the general election according to the agenda, namely in 2024," said Misbakhun in a written statement, quoted from Antara.

Golkar continues to strive consistently in implementing Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

"All Golkar cadres who sit in the executive and legislative branches must apply the four pillars of nationality," said Misbakhun during the Socialization of the Four Pillars of the MPR at the Golkar Party DPD Office, Pasuruan City, East Java, Friday (15/4).

In the socialization event of the four pillars in Pasuruan, Misbakhun, who is a legislator from the Electoral District II of East Java, gave directions to the cadres regarding the application of the four pillars in the life of the nation and state. According to him, the four pillars are one of the great ideas of the Golkar Party.

"Golkar Party since its inception has aimed to strengthen the four pillars of nationality," he said, Saturday, April 16.

He also emphasized that Golkar would be on the constitutional path in addressing various hot issues concerning the state, including the election issue. He explained Golkar's efforts to maintain diversity and strengthen the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, by always being open to all without recognizing discrimination.

"We can see it politically clearly. We have two legislators in the Pasuruan City DPRD who are ethnic Chinese. They have an equal role, and were even elected to the council," he explained.

The former civil servant (PNS) at the Directorate General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance said Golkar has a big task in the state sector.

"For that, let all Golkar Party cadres in Pasuruan City continue to consolidate themselves in order to realize a better Indonesia," he said.
