Blizzard Showcases First Female Hero For Overwatch 2

JAKARTA - Overwatch 2 PvP beta will start at the end of this month. Blizzard has also released a gameplay trailer for one of the sequel's main additions, Sojourn.

Sojourn is the 33rd hero in the Overwatch lineup, and the main character introduced in two years. Sojourn is the most suitable damage hero for mid-range combat.

Blizzard was eager to show her off not only because she's the first black woman on the hero roster after six years of updates, but also because she packs a powerful FPS staple, the railgun.

Sojourn has a railgun with two firing modes. The main flame sends out fast projectiles that build up energy on impact. With its secondary shot, you can fire that stored energy as a high-impact shot.

Sojourn's ultimate ability is called Overclock. This power increases the railgun's secondary fire by automatically restoring energy.

Blizzard has also released a trailer that explores the origins of Sojourn. He is a member of Canadian Special Forces whose unit was linked to the Overwatch task force during the Omnic Crisis.

Sojourn will be available in the Overwatch 2 PvP beta, starting on April 26. The Overwatch League will also be playing the game using the Overwatch 2 beta when it returns next month.
