Jasa Marga Announces Stopping All Construction Works On Toll Roads On D-10 Eid 2022, Promises No Hollow Roads

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk announced to stop construction-related work on all toll roads on H-10 Lebaran 2022. This policy is to ensure the toll lanes are smoothly crossed by travelers.

"In terms of preservation services, Jasa Marga will temporarily stop all construction work starting on D-10 Lebaran," said General Manager Representative Office 1 Jasamarga Transjawa Tollroad Regional Division Muhammad Taufik Akbar in Bekasi, Friday, April 15, quoted from Antara.

His party ensures that on D-10 all toll road pavement works are neat and without holes. The maintenance team will also be alerted to ensure signage facilities on main lines and functional lines.

Taufik hopes that the widening of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road is also targeted to be completed before Eid and can be operated functionally to increase lane capacity.

He also conveyed the readiness of Rest and Service Areas (TIP) on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and the preparation of rest areas to support smooth traffic.

"In terms of facilities and infrastructure, we are preparing for the addition of portable fire extinguishers, the availability of clean water, the addition of cleaning and security officers, as well as ensuring the availability of fuel, workshops, top-up services to support the smooth running of the 2022 homecoming," he said.

He explained that there are several policies in the rest area which will be coordinated with the police to avoid crowds and queues that disrupt the smooth flow of traffic.

The policies include a scheme to open and close the rest area if there is a density at the location, as well as limiting the resting time in that area to a maximum of 30 minutes for travelers.

Taufik stated that all preparations ahead of the homecoming flow continue to be optimized in order to improve optimal services, especially for travelers who want to head to the east of Java Island.

"We have prepared all aspects optimally so that this year's homecoming can run in a safe and healthy manner, starting from traffic engineering schemes, placement of officers, traffic service fleets, information and communication services, to the addition of toll booths," he said.
