Tangerang Polresta Prepares 400 Security Personnel During The 2022 Eid Mubarak Homecoming

JAKARTA - Tangerang Regency Police have prepared 400 personnel for diamond operations and securing the homecoming flow in their jurisdiction.

"There are around 400 officers prepared, but of course later we are still waiting for the coordination prepared by the Head of the National Police," said Head of the Tangerang Traffic Police, Kompol Fikri Ardiansyah when confirmed, Friday, April 15.

Although he has prepared hundreds of personnel, Fikri admitted that he is still waiting for directions from the relevant agencies regarding the technical implementation of traffic engineering for Lebaran homecoming.

"We will also cooperate with other agencies such as the TNI, Transportation Agency, Pol PP and the Health Office in the homecoming service," he said.

However, Fikri ensured that his party would open six monitoring posts for the homecoming flow which were built on a number of toll roads. Later the posts will function as health services and resting places for travelers.

He added that the scheme for establishing six security posts was intended to anticipate traffic congestion during the Lebaran homecoming season.

"For security posts, there are East Balaraja, Toll Rest Areas on lanes A and B at KM 4. Then on the Jayanti lane on the Serang-Tangerang border," he said.

"(Meanwhile) we will position the service post in the Citra Raya area (Tangerang Regency)," he added.

On his occasion, Fikri appealed to travelers to prepare themselves and their vehicles for health first. The goal is to prevent accidents from happening when traveling back and forth later.

"For homecomers, they should prepare themselves even more, both from personal readiness to the vehicles used later," he said.
