Allegedly Short Circuit, House In Cengkareng Caught Fire

JAKARTA - A house on Jalan Muray, Cengkareng, West Jakarta was burned down. Losses are estimated at up to Rp 1.8 billion.

Head of West Jakarta Fire Operations Section Sjukri Bahanan said the incident occurred on Friday, April 15, at 06.05 WIB.

"That's right, this morning the fire. one house to live in,” said Sjukri when contacted by VOI, Friday, April 15.

Sjukri added that the cause of the fire was suspected to be an electrical short from the ground floor of the house.

"The cause of the fire is suspected to be an electric short circuit from the ground floor," he explained.

A total of 13 firefighters and 65 personnel were deployed by his party. This is done to speed up the extinguishing of the fire.

"The fire was declared extinguished at 07.30 WIB," he said.

On his occasion, Sjukri said that there were no casualties in the incident. However, the loss is estimated at up to Rp. 1.8 billion.

"No fatalities. (However) for a loss of Rp. 1.8 billion, he said.
