Lautaro Martinez's Bright Season That Soars Its Selling Prices

JAKARTA - In the list of players with the highest market value in the top five European leagues according to the CIES Football Observatory, Lautaro Martinez has the most expensive selling price in Serie A.

Thanks to an excellent season with Inter Milan, El Toro (The Bull) of Argentina is 10th in the overall list at a price of 115.7 million euros. Meanwhile his Nerazzurri partner, Romelu Lukaku, is in 20th place with a value of 100.2 million euros.

In Serie A, the two Inter strikers are ranked first and second. Third on the list is Fabian Ruiz (91.4 million euros), followed by Paulo Dybala at 91.2 million euros.

Fifth place and first Italian player is Nicolo Zaniolo (86.3 million euros). Cristiano Ronaldo is only seventh in the Serie A list, valued at 80.3 million euros, behind Nicolo Barella (82.1 million euros).

Martinez and Lukaku have transformed into the scariest duet in Serie A. So far, Inter have scored 30 goals in which the deadly duo has been the biggest contributor to his team.

Launching OptaPaolo, they have the status as the most fertile duet (away matches) in the top five European leagues this season with 16 goals (10 lukaku, 6 Lautaro).

At the opening of the second half of Serie A, Monday Martinez and Lukaku led Inter to win 3-1 over host Napoli. A Martinez goal and Lukaku brace marked La Beneamata's first win over Napoli in Naples since 1997.

"We are good friends, do a lot of things together off the pitch too. And when we are on the pitch we support each other," Lukaku said after the match.

"I am very happy with the way we are playing at the moment, but we can play much better," said the Belgian.
