Indorent, Car Rental Company Owned By Conglomerate Anthony Salim Wants IPO

JAKARTA - Another company from the Salim group will be listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). PT Indomobil Multi Jasa Tbk (IMJS) said its subsidiary, PT CSM Corporatama (Indorent), plans to carry out an initial public offering (IPO) in the near future.

This can be seen when CSM Corporatama changed its legal entity status from a private company to a public company on April 12. Also, the name change from PT CSM Corporatama to PT CSM Corporatama Tbk.

"Adjustment of the articles of association is in accordance with the provisions of the laws of the Republic of Indonesia and/or Bappepam regulations and/or Financial Services Authority regulations regarding public offerings and public companies," explained the IMJS Directors in an information disclosure, quoted Thursday, April 14.

The IMJS Board of Directors also stated that the company's share ownership in PT CSM Corporatama will undergo changes, but the company will continue to maintain its position as the controlling shareholder.

As is known, Indomobil Multi Jasa is an issuer in the field of financing, transportation services, and transportation, where 91.97 percent of its shares are held by PT Indomobil Sukses Lestari International Tbk (IMAS).

PT CSM Corporatama or Indorent was founded in 1987 by the Indomobil Group as the first rental company in Indonesia and has received an ISO certificate.
