COVID-19 Update As Of April 14: New Cases Under A Thousand
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 131,907 specimens were examined with the results of 833 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,037,742 people and active cases have decreased by 2,431 to 64,044 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Thursday, April 14.
Today's recovered cases increased by 3,216 people, bringing the total to 5,817,904 recovered. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 48 cases and a total of 155,794 people.
The province with the most new cases was in West Java with 229 cases and a total of 1,103,663 cases. Followed by Banten with 127 new cases with a total of 291,580 cases. Central Java with 92 new cases and a total of 626,179 cases. DKI Jakarta with 72 new cases and a total of 1,244,955 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 791 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 699 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 307 recovered cases, and Lampung with an additional 209 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 93,725,462.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week was 2.37 percent," he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 4,107 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 197,910,765 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 162,204,973 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 29,213,567 people. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
