Viral A Number Of Dangdutan Police Actions During The COVID-19 Pandemic, Check The Facts From The Police
JAKARTA - Circulating on social media about dangdutan videos at the Pasuruan Police; Polsek Gondang, Tulungagung; and Grobogan, Central Java. The National Police Headquarters provides clarification, this viral video is not entirely true.
Karo Penmas of the National Police's Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, said that for the video showing Gondang Police officers dancing actually took place in August. At that time, Tulungagung was entering a new normal period.
"What happened was that August 19 had entered the new normal," Awi told reporters, Monday, October 5.
However, the video in circulation has already been edited. So that it shows the impression that the police are breaking the rules. Even though this activity has been going on for a long time.
"So this video is tendentious because it combines (video) appeals with members of the dance-dance as if members violate it," said Awi.
As for the video at the Pasuruan Police, Awi confirmed the violations committed by its members. Thus, the East Java Regional Police's Professional and Security (Propam) Division is examining the parties involved.
"For those involved in the old and new Kasat then propam has been examined, of course there will be prosecution after the severity of the violation," said Awi.
Meanwhile, the video showing the dancing action of police officers in Grobogan, Central Java is not true. Because, the video shows what really happened.
Based on the results of the clarification, what actually happened was that the local police allowed residents to hold a circumcision celebration, but provided there was no entertainment.
"The activity received a recommendation from the task force, there were no entertainment activities. Then this video was edited, coupled with the dancing and dancing activities, there were pictures of the subdistrict head, the police, the TNI," said Awi.
