Rovio Entertainment, The Developer Of The Game Angry Birds Will Be Left By His Boss
JAKARTA - Rovio Entertainment, the game developer, Angry Bird, will lose one of its top leaders. Their CEO, Kati Levoranta, announced that she will resign at the end of this year.
Levoranta, who has led Rovio since 2016. Since then he has been trying to bring the video game development company to the public market in 2017.
"The company's results and cash flow developments are at a good level and the balance sheet is strong," said Rovio's chairman, Kim Ignatius, thanking Levoranta for its performance.
Rovio maintained a 30 percent long-term operating margin, between 6.3 percent and 11.2 percent in the last three years. Rovio's shares rose 1.2 percent after news of Levoranta's departure.
"The board of directors will begin the process of finding a new CEO," said the Finnish company.

Previously, Kati Levoranta took part in acquiring a mobile game application developer from Denmark, Darkfire Games. Where wants to combine it in the game studio network Rovio Entertainment, as their subsidiary.
This strengthens the mastery of the Rovio game genre and expansion into Mid-Core games, where the company sees interesting opportunities in the RPG segment. Rovio Copenhagen will continue to operate as an independent studio focused on mobile RPGs.
