Students Impose Protest Act Demanding To Lower Fuel And Cooking Oil Prices In Lampung Provincial Government

BANDARLAMPUNG - Students who are members of the Lampung Calling Alliance cannot enter the courtyard of the Lampung Provincial Government's office during a demonstration, Wednesday, April 13, because they are blocked by barbed wire in front of the entrance to the provincial government office.

Quoted by Antara, students who hold demonstrations usually use their respective university alma maters.

In the action, students brought a number of attributes such as flags, banners, and posters containing criticism. They took turns giving speeches to convey their demands.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, the police and the Civil Service Police (Satpol PP) have been on standby behind barbed wire to anticipate things that are not desirable.

During the demonstration demanding a reduction in the price of cooking oil and fuel, several students fainted and were rushed to the nearest clinic by Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) personnel who were on alert.

Shops and some offices in the vicinity of the demonstration site were seen closing their businesses and offices from early in the morning.

Until this news was published, demonstrations by the Lampung Calling Alliance were still taking place at the entrance of the Lampung Provincial Government. Once in a while, protesters try to break the barbed wire that the police have installed in front of the entrance to the Lampung Provincial Government Office.
