Police Arrest Dhia Ul Haq, The Figure Who Beats Ade Armando From Behind

JAKARTA - The police have again arrested one suspect in the case of beating Ade Armando during the April 11 demonstration in front of the DPR Building. The suspect is known as Dhia Ul Haq.

"Yes (one suspect was arrested, ed)," said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Grand Commissioner E. Zulpan when confirmed, Wednesday, April 13.

Based on the video recording, Dhia Ul Haq was the first to carry out the beating. He hit Ade Armando's back.

However, regarding the role of the suspect, Zulpan did not want to describe it. Including the location of the arrest. The reason is that everything regarding the arrest and role of Dhia Ul Haq will be explained this afternoon.

So far, from the information circulating, Dhia Ul Haq was arrested in the Serpong area, South Tangerang.

"We will officially announce it when it is released at 14.00 western Indonesia time in the afternoon," said Zulpan.

With this arrest, three suspects have been arrested. They include Dhia Ul Haq, Muhammad Bagja and Komar. Meanwhile, the police have named 6 suspects in this case.

Meanwhile, Ade Armando was the victim of a beating during a student demonstration in the area of the Indonesian Parliament Building on April 11. The motive behind the beating is not yet known.
