Ade Armando Beaten Beaten, PDIP Djarot: Unjustified, Brutal And Cowardly Actions
JAKARTA - The chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) for the Ideology and Cadreization Division, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, is concerned about the beatings experienced by social media activist Ade Armando. According to him, this act was done by cowards.
Not only that, Djarot also regretted this incident because it occurred during the holy month of Ramadan.
"This is an unjustifiable, brutal and cowardly act. Moreover, this is during the fasting month, in the holy month of fasting. Of course we all have to be able to control our lusts," Djarot told reporters at the KPK ACLC Building, Tuesday, 12 April.
Djarot said demonstrations were okay. However, there should be no anarchism.
Not only that, the beatings that occurred in the middle of the action have injured the student movement. Moreover, the perpetrators are not from among the students who are on the move.
"After all, the anarchic act seriously injures the student movement, which is pure to express its opinions and aspirations. It's not from the students," he said.
"It's a criminal act and it's far from the value of glory as a nation that holds Pancasila," added Djarot.
As previously reported, Ade Armando appeared to have suffered injuries to his face as a result of being punched by a group of people during a student mass action in front of the DPR Building on Monday 11 April afternoon.
Ade's pants were also taken off. He was hurriedly embraced by the police into the gates of the DPR to be secured from beatings.
The current condition of the lecturer who is also a social media activist is being treated at the hospital. Ade suffered a concussion, which was thought to be the result of a hard blow he received.
In addition, his nose is also being examined by a doctor because he complained of pain in that part.
