Police Who Were Attacked By Intruders On April 11 Demonstration In Front Of The DPR Are Being Treated At The Police Hospital
JAKARTA - A member of the Traffic Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya AKP Rudi Wira is undergoing intensive treatment at the emergency room at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, for being a victim of the beating of protesters in front of the DPR building.
Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo explained that AKP Rudi Wira's condition was still stable despite having serious injuries all over his body.
"The results of the examination showed bruises and wounds on the back of the head, then bruises on the chest were suspected to be the result of a blow from a blunt object, possibly a stone, causing bruising to the lungs," said Sambodo Purnomo Yogo at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Monday, April 11th.
Sambodo said AKP Rudi Wira also suffered injuries to his back as a result of the beating. Not only that, the motor used by the victim was also badly damaged.
"Later on, as a result of the incident, the official motorbike used by AKP Rudi Wira was damaged and currently AKP Rudi Wira is still being treated at the ER at the Police Hospital," said Sambodo.
Sambodo also hopes for prayers from the community for the recovery of AKP Rudi Wira's condition, who is still being treated intensively at the emergency room at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital.
"We ask for prayers from the entire community so that he can recover, nothing is serious so he can return to service," said Sambodo.
