DKI Dishub Supervises Vehicles Blocking Roads Around The Demo Site On April 11, Will Be Towed
JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Service, Syafrin Liputo, said that his party will monitor vehicles parked at points around the location of the BEM SI demonstration and other elements of society today.
If there is a vehicle blocking the road, said Syafrin, the DKI Transportation Agency will immediately tow it for safekeeping.
"There are several tow trucks. If there are vehicles that have the potential to block these vehicles, of course we will tow them," said Syafrin at DKI City Hall, Monday, April 11.
The locations for supervision by the DKI Transportation Agency are Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur, the Horse Statue area, Jalan Budi Kemuliaan, Jalan Abdul Muis, Tanah Abang III intersection, and Jalan Veteran.
Syafrin said that his party deployed 100 personnel, accompanied by a number of VNS cars placed at the ends of the road to divert the socialization of traffic flow.
For information, there are a number of roads that have been closed and traffic flows have been diverted around the State Palace area as a result of today's demonstration.
Medan Merdeka Barat and Medan Merdeka Utara roads were closed and wire fences and water barriers were installed in both directions. The traffic engineering in the State Palace area, namely:
1. Traffic flow that will go to Jalan Veteran III is straightened out to Traffic Light Harmoni
2. The flow of traffic from Jalan Merdeka Timur to Jl. Merdeka Utara/State Palace turned right Jl. Commissioned Officer
3. The flow of traffic from Jalan Ridwan Rais that will go to Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan is straightened out to Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur.
4. The traffic flow from Jalan MH Thamrin which will go to the Horse Statue Roundabout is turned left or right towards Jalan Kebon Sirih.
5. Traffic flow from Jl. Abdul Muis who will turn left onto Jl. Budi Kemuliaan straightened to Jl. Fachrudin and traffic flow from Jl. Fachrudin who will turn right onto Jl. Budi Kemuliaan straightened to Jl. Abdul Muis.
6. Traffic flow from Jl. Tanah Abang II which will go straight to Jl. Museum to the left or right, traffic flow from Jl. Majapahit which will turn left onto Jl. The museum is straightened to Jl Abdul Muis and Traffic Flow from Jl. Abdul Muis who will turn right onto Jl. The museum is straightened to Jalan Majapahit.
7. Traffic flow from Jl. Hayam Wuruk which will go straight to Jl. Majapahit turned left onto Jl. Juanda and traffic flow from Jl. Suryo Pranoto who will go to Jl. Ir. H Juanda turned left Jl. Gajah Mada
8. Traffic flow from Jl. Abdul Muis who will go to Jl. Majapahit turned left Jl. Tanah Abang II
