11 Students Who Are Arrested, Can't Answer When Asked By The Police What's The Business Want To Join A Demonstration With Students
TANGERANG - Tangerang City Metro Police arrested 11 high school students who were indicated to be participating in a demonstration (unras) in Jakarta. This is known after an examination of the students.
"We have secured 11 children and indicated (following a demonstration in Jakarta," said the Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Kombes Komarudin, Monday, April 11.
Komarudin explained that during the inspection, a message was found in the student's cellphone containing an invitation to take part in a demonstration in Jakarta.
"From the cellphones we checked, all invitations to Jakarta contained invitations to go to Jakarta," he said.
"We asked them what their purpose for going to Jakarta was with the issue of the action. They didn't know anything, they just wanted to join in.
Therefore, he emphasized that he would investigate who gave the message inviting the students to join the demonstration.
"We are investigating who invited them, including the gathering point and so on. We are still exploring, we are looking for who is moving them," he said.
In addition, he appealed to teachers and parents to monitor their children so as not to take part in demonstrations in Jakarta. So that things do not happen that are not desirable.
"We urge parents and teachers to be with us. To monitor the whereabouts of their children, don't make the mistake of joining the activities," he said.
