NTT Waives Antigen And PCR Requirements For Travelers Within The Province

JAKARTA - The East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government has waived travel requirements for travelers within the NTT region, namely that they do not need to show the results of an antigen or PCR test, especially for those who have been vaccinated against the second dose.

The head of the NTT Transportation Service, Ishak Nuka, said that the decision was issued because indeed not everyone in the NTT region had received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine due to geographical conditions.

"Besides that, not all regions in NTT also have a booster vaccine, so the Governor of NTT issued the instruction," he said, quoted from Antara, Saturday, April 9.

Not only that, another obstacle is the lack of PCR test locations in NTT which is the reason why the NTT governor issued a letter of instruction with the number: 550/SK.24/DISHUB1/IV/2022, concerning the Enforcement of the Implementation of People's Travel within the NTT Territory during the period. The 2019 Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic in NTT which is not in accordance with the central government's decision.

However, especially for new, the first dose of vaccine must show negative PCR with a validity period of 3 x 24 hours or a rapid antigen test with a validity period of 1 x 24 hours.

Meanwhile, children under the age of six are not required to show negative PCR results or antigen rapid tests.

Then prospective passengers with a history of having a special disease/comorbid so that they have not been able to receive the vaccine, must show negative PCR with a validity period of 3 x 24 hours and must attach a certificate from a doctor from the Government Hospital stating that they have not and/or cannot receive the COVID vaccine. -19 for medical reasons.

"Then you must fill out the e-HAC in the PeduliLindung application," he added.
