KKB Burns Residents' Houses In Ilaga Papua
JAYAPURA - The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) has once again spread terror. This time the KKB burned the houses of residents in Kimak Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Papua.
"They previously sounded an explosion at the Pasar complex, suspected of being a firearm, which sounded three short barrels from the direction of the Catholic Church. Then they burned the house owned by a resident with the initials YT which was close to PT. Modern," said the Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal in a written statement, Thursday, April 7.
There were no casualties from the community or the security forces. The situation is conducive.
"After the incident, the situation in Puncak Regency was safe and conducive, joint personnel continued to take care to ensure the situation was safe," said Kombes Kamal.
The Papuan Police condemned the action taken by the KKB. According to him, the KKB action was very disturbing to the people in Puncak Regency.
"The presence of the TNI-Polri in the midst of society is to provide a sense of security so that people can carry out activities safely and comfortably without any fear or terror perpetrated by the KKB," he concluded.
