Police Suspect That The Women Who Were Hacked At The Sunday Market Were Victims Of The Wrong Target
JAKARTA - The Head of the Pasar Minggu Police, Kompol Bambang Handoko, revealed that the middle-aged woman who was the victim of the stabbing of two unidentified people in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, was the victim of a wrong target.
The woman with the initials K (49) was heading to the mosque to perform the dawn prayer. However, in the middle of the road, precisely on Jalan Harsono RM, Ragunan, Pasar Minggu, at around 04.30 WIB, the woman was attacked by the perpetrator using a sickle.
"It seems that the target was wrong, no one's name (valuable items) has been lost," said Bambang when confirmed, Thursday, April 8.
Bambang said that his party had conducted a crime scene (TKP) to find out what actually happened.
"There is CCTV, but it's not very clear," he said.
Luckily, the victim survived and was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital to receive treatment for injuries to his body due to the slashing of the sickle.
