North Sumatra Tanjungbalai Police Raid Drug Village
MEDAN - Personnel from the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Tanjungbalai Police raided a drug village at the Alteri Permai inn, Alteri Street, Sirantau Village, Tanjungbalai City, North Sumatra.
"The raid on the drug village is aimed at suppressing drug trafficking in the Tanjungbalai Police jurisdiction," said Tanjungbalai Police Chief AKBP Triyadi through the Narcotics Head AKP S. Tambunan as reported by Antara, Wednesday, April 6.
Tambunan said that during the raid, a man with the initials AS (25) was arrested on Jalan Sei Kogem, Pasar Baru Village, Sei Tualang Raso District, Tanjungbalai City.
"From the results of the urine test carried out on the US, it was found positive for using drugs," he said.
He said that the US who tested positive for narcotics had been interrogated and then handed over to the Tanjungbalai City National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Office for a medical assessment.
"The personnel involved in the activity are 8 personnel of the Narcotics Unit, 8 personnel of the Tanjungbalai City BNN, 1 of the Lurah's Head, 1 of the Head of the Environment, and 1 of the Datuk Bandar Sector Police Personnel," said the Head of the Narcotics Unit at the Tanjungbalai Police.
