Police Arrest Klitih Gang Who Stabbed Unknown Person In Boyolali
BOYOLALI - The Boyolali Police revealed a violent case of the Klitih gang who stabbed an unknown person with sharp weapons.
"A perpetrator of the molestation case or the klitih gang, with the initials A (16) and is currently being held at the Boyolali Police Headquarters," said Boyolali Police Chief AKBP Asep Mauludin, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, April 6.
Meanwhile, one other perpetrator with the initials RA (17), a resident of Solo who is on the wanted list (DPO). Police are still searching for one perpetrator who was involved in acts of violence or gang klitih against foreigners.
The police chief explained the chronology of cases of Klitih gang violence or mistreatment of minors with victim S (16), a resident of Boyolali and three friends in front of Alfamart, Kacangan Village, Andong Boyolali District, Tuesday (29/3), at around 00.15 WIB.
Not long after, a group of people who did not know something like the klitih gang came on a motorbike and surrounded the victim and three of his friends.
However, two of the victim's friends rushed to leave the location, but the victim and one friend with the initials MZ were still surrounded by the unknown group of people.
The group of unknown people then asked the victim and MZ to go home. After that, the victim rushed to ride his friend MZ on his motorbike to leave the location. However, the victim was followed by the perpetrator and RA's friend from behind.
The victim, after arriving in front of the Pitoelas Dukuh Pelemrenteng Andong restaurant, was suddenly grabbed by the perpetrator and immediately slashed the samurai at the victim six times. The victim tried to fend off with his hands until he was injured by the samurai's slash.
The victim and his friend managed to escape and fled to the village of Dukuh Tempursari asking for help from local residents. Meanwhile, the two perpetrators fled towards Watugede, Andong District.
The police who received the report immediately conducted an investigation and succeeded in arresting one perpetrator with the initials A (16) in the Andong Boyolali area, on Sunday (3/4).
"The perpetrator abused the victim without any reason, a mode such as the klitih gang which is sure to be one of the street crimes that is our priority for handling," said the police chief.
The incident of a criminal act such as the klitih gang in Andong was successfully revealed and this is the first time it has happened in Boyolali. Perpetrators search for victims randomly. Perpetrators don't know the victim and they do random things on the streets..
The perpetrator is charged with Article 170 paragraph (2) of the 1st Criminal Code or Article 353 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code sub Article 351 (1) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code and or Article 80 of Law No. 35 of 2014 changes or RI Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code. The maximum penalty is seven years in prison.
"We continue to activate regional patrols on a regular basis, especially during vulnerable hours so that Kamtibmas in this month of Ramadan remains conducive," he said.
