Ministry Of Transportation: PPLN Can Enter Indonesia Through International Airports
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) through the Directorate General of Civil Aviation stated that foreign travelers (PPLN) can enter Indonesian territory at ten international airports.
"This provision is regulated in the Circular Letter of the Minister of Transportation Number 42 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Overseas Travel by Air Transportation During the COVID-19 Pandemic, effective from April 6, 2022," said Director General of Civil Aviation Novie Riyanto as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, April 6 .
Novie explained that the ten international airports are Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Banten, Juanda Airport in East Java, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali, Hang Nadim Airport in Batam, Riau Islands, Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport in Bintan, Riau Islands, Sam Ratulangi Airport in Riau Islands. North Sulawesi, Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Airport in West Nusa Tenggara, Kualanamu Airport in North Sumatra, Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in South Sulawesi, and Yogyakarta International Airport in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
"In addition to increasing entrances, the latest Circular also stipulates that incoming PPLNs must have a body temperature below 37.5 degrees Celsius and meet other requirements," said Director General Novie.
Several other requirements that must be met by PPLN upon arrival include the obligation to show a second dose of vaccine card at least 14 days before departure, negative RT-PCR results from the country of origin a maximum of 2x24 hours before departure, must undergo RT-PCR upon arrival, download the application PeduliLindung and e-HAC Indonesia.
