Rachmat Irianto's Reason For Leaving Persebaya: His Family Is Terrorized By Unknown Persons
JAKARTA - Rachmat Irianto has decided not to continue his collaboration with his favorite club, Persebaya Surabaya. The reason for the safety of the family was the main factor for Irianto to resign.
Through the club's official account, Persebaya announced the reason for the defender's separation from Bajul Ijo. Terror from an unknown person called the team so that made Irianto's heart hurt and chose to leave his idol club.
"Rian (Rachmat Irianto) chose not to continue working together for family reasons. The criticism he has received so far has resulted in accusations and terror against the family," Persebaya wrote on Instagram.
Because he doesn't want his family to continue to be threatened, Irianto is forced to part with Persebaya, which is his dream team.
"It is with a heavy heart that he has to leave the team of his dreams since childhood," the statement added.
Rian, the Arabic nickname for Irianto, started his career as a Bajul ijo player since 2016. Although at that time he was still young, Irianto was lined up as captain.
Irianto is the son of the Persebaya legend, Bejo Sugiantoro. Born from Surabaya, Irianto is also a young star of Persebaya who is also the mainstay of the Indonesian national team during the Shin Tae Yong era.
After deciding to cooperate with Persebaya, Irianto joined Persib Bandung with his teammate, Ricky Kambuaya.
