Elementary-High School Students In Tangerang Regency Apply 100 Percent PTM Starting Mid-April
JAKARTA - Tangerang Regency plans to implement 100 percent face-to-face learning (PTM) for elementary school to junior high school students in mid-April 2022.
"Currently there are several schools that have submitted applications according to our circular regarding the requirements for face-to-face learning. And perhaps we will effectively hold the 100 percent PTM in the third week of April," Tangerang Regency Education Office Secretary Fahrudin said in Tangerang, Wednesday. April 6th.
He said the Tangerang Regency Education Office and COVID-19 Task Force were still discussing the technical implementation of 100 percent PTM and the number of schools that were allowed to carry it out.
"Based on submissions from several schools that have met the requirements from us and the Task Force regarding the achievement of COVID-19 vaccination, we will allow it to hold 100 percent PTM," he said, as reported by Antara.
He explained that the office would evaluate the fulfillment of the requirements for full face-to-face learning at schools, including the implementation of health protocols and the provision of supporting facilities, the coverage of COVID-19 vaccination for school residents, as well as the readiness of students and their parents.
"So now we are looking at the predicate of student vaccination achievements, then whether schools have used health protocol supporting facilities such as the PeduliLindung application to maintain and anticipate the transmission of COVID-19," he said.
He said that until now face-to-face learning is still carried out in a limited manner with a maximum limit of 50 percent of the room capacity in Tangerang Regency.
During limited face-to-face learning, according to him, there were no reports of cases of COVID-19 transmission among school residents. "Alhamdulillah, so far it is still safe and smooth. The limited PTM implementation can run well," he said.
